Patty Standring approaches every transaction in her escrow practice with enthusiasm and authenticity, delivering a superior closing experience for all parties. Her love of research is advantageous in complex transactions, and her empathetic nature is an incredible asset when delicate situations arise.
With over 25 years of experience, Patty still enjoys seeing the excitement of a first-time home buyer and the pride that industry partners like builders and real estate professionals have for their work. She completed the classes for certification as a member of the Oregon Escrow Council, an organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in escrow through continuing education for its members statewide, locally, and through legislative advocacy, and served as Secretary in the past.
Originally from West Virginia, Patty traveled extensively as the daughter of a U.S. Marine. After college, a scholarship to the Portland Ballet School brought her to Oregon as her final destination. She has a B.A. in Fine and Performing Arts from Western Washington University and an M.A. in Education from Loyola University Maryland. Her portfolio of industry volunteer activities includes chairing the Homebuilders Association Auction and serving on the Street of Dreams Site Choice Committee.
When not working with clients, Patty watches her grandchildren in sports and cheerleading, plays golf, and enjoys music, dance, and writing.
