With over 19 years of experience, Fara Laners was an elementary school music teacher before transitioning into the title and escrow services profession. She has worked with the Portland Housing Center, the African American Alliance of Home Buyers, Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East, and Proud Ground in assisting and educating potential buyers in the home buying process. In addition to her designation as a Certified Escrow Officer (CEO), she is a member of the Oregon Escrow Council, National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), and the Portland-Vancouver Realtist Association, which represents minorities in all aspects of real estate.
Fara received her Bachelors of Music Education from Lewis and Clark College and Masters of Music Education from Western Oregon State University. She enjoys music, reading, film, and travel.
